Acupuncture & Healing

All-inclusive acupuncture treatment

A medical history will be taken including pulse and tongue, blood pressure, temperature, and more. Your chief complaint will be addressed by some or a combination of the following: acupuncture (needles), moxa, electro-acupuncture depending on your case.  Fine needles are carefully inserted into the superficial part of the skin with almost no feeling to tonify, sedate and/or promote overall circulation and healing.

APIT - Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy

Acupuncture Point Injection Therapy (APIT), called bio puncture in Europe, is the injection of vitamins, homeopathic solutions, herbs, and/or other nutrients via hypodermic needles into specific acupuncture points utilizing specific depths and techniques. Injection techniques are based on a combination of Traditional Chinese Medicine meridian theories and Western biomedicine. This leading technique is at the forefront as being one of the fastest growing integrative medical modalities.  Price depends on therapy and type of injection.

Live & Dry Blood Analysis

Live and Dry Blood Analysis (LDBA) involves taking a drop of blood and interpreting the information it gives us about the body. This can then be used to guide us towards optimum health.
During ‘Live’ blood analysis (also known as Live Blood Microscopy or Live Blood Cell Analysis) a drop of fresh capillary blood is viewed in its live state (not oxidised, preserved, treated or stained with chemicals) under a microscope. It is magnified 1000x in order to view the condition of the blood cells and the plasma and reveal any other contents of the blood that can be signs of imbalance.

Cupping

Glass cups are gently placed on the skin to promote circulation and to break up stagnation in the muscle, blood and Qi.

Ear acupuncture

Auricular (ear) acupuncture is an alternative way for treatment of various conditions and/or addictions.  Fine needles or seeds are placed on ear points in accordance with NADA protocol as well as TCM.

CBD - Coaching Session

Would you like to understand more about cannabis and if it may be an option for you? This session composes of a medical inquiry, health assessment and explanation about the Endocannabinoid system and how cannabis can affect it.
What is CBD? Cannabidiol (CBD) is one of dozens of non-psychoactive cannabinoids found in the hemp plant. Cannabinoids are characterized by their ability to act on cannabinoid receptors that are found throughout the body. CBD is a naturally occurring compound that is non-toxic and non-intoxicating which makes it ideal for people seeking the health benefits of cannabinoids without the mind altering effects of medical marijuana. We are the only place in Sedona that offers full spectrum, organic, lab tested CBD high quality oil.

Benefits of CBD as a Daily Supplement
by ECHO / Wednesday, 12 July 2017 / Published in Education, Overview of Cannabinoids

Taking CBD as a daily supplement can benefit everyone. In the United States and many other markets around the world, CBD hemp oil — derived from the stalk and seeds of hemp — is sold as a nutritional supplement and therefore legal for those looking to integrate the benefits of CBD into their lives.

There are many benefits to taking a daily serving of CBD, but the most prominent among them is that the natural non-psychoactive compound helps augment the body’s naturally occurring endocannabinoids to encourage balance and homeostasis. When absorbed by the body, CBD interacts with the body’s endocannabinoid system, which is responsible for regulating many the body’s functions, including sleep, mood, appetite, and immune function. CBD supplements the body’s own endocannabinoids to improve the endocannabinoid system’s ability to maintain balance despite outside fluctuations and influences.

CBD supplements the body’s own endocannabinoids to improve the endocannabinoid system’s ability to maintain balance despite outside fluctuations and influences.

CBD and other trace cannabinoids found in hemp oil work together in what’s referred to as the “entourage effect” to provide their balancing effects. These balancing properties have been shown to potentially suppress seizure activity, combat psychosis disorders, fight tumor cells, battle depression, and protect brain cells. CBD is therefore becoming increasingly sought after by families faced with serious diseases, like epilepsy, cancer, depression, and Alzheimer’s disease.

But the homeostasis-encouraging properties of daily CBD are also beneficial to everyone, regardless of a health diagnosis. Studies have found that CBD improves sleep, reduces anxiety, and improves cognition. Cannabinoid use has also been associated with a reduced risk of developing metabolic syndrome, a health condition that includes high blood pressure, high blood sugar, excess body fat, and abnormal cholesterol levels.

CBD hemp oil also supplements our deficient modern diets with much-needed nutrients, including vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, terpenes, and flavonoids. Hemp is also a valuable plant-based source of protein. At a time where many of us fail to obtain adequate levels of these important nutrients in the foods we eat, it helps to obtain them from CBD hemp oil.

Depending on serving size, method of application, and other variables like your body size, it can take a couple of minutes to a couple of hours after consuming CBD before the effects of the natural compound appear.

Although it’s not critical to take CBD every day, doing so may increase the benefits of the supplement. CBD, like all cannabinoids, can build up in the body and stimulate an increase in the endocannabinoid system’s cannabinoid receptors. This can help make the endocannabinoid system even more active and sensitive to stimulation by cannabinoids, improving the system’s abilities to achieve and maintain homeostasis.

Many families incorporate vitamins into their routine for optimal health and wellness, but they may be missing the balancing benefits of CBD.
